Flyrail / Drop Boxes

A fly system or theatrical rigging system allows the stage crew to hoist quickly and safely components such as lights and stage effects. Drop boxes can form part of a line set, the purpose of which is to fly a bar by hoisting it with lift lines allowing scenery or lighting to be flown. Electrical line sets may require drop boxes (fly rail socket boxes), this allows for the temporary wiring of the line set. It is also possible to use fully-wired line sets. 

MTX supply a range of fly rail socket boxes, also known as drop boxes, in linear and standard styles, suitable for various applications. We supply six-way and twelve-way standard boxes and have been developed to suit all standard applications.

Our fly rail panels have been developed to suit all standard applications and are manufactured from a 1.5mm steel sheet. As well as connection customisation, you can also choose a custom colour.
