Established in 1985, Doughty Engineering is a world leader in manufacturing rigging, suspension and lifting equipment for film, TV, and theatre industries. Originating in England they have supplied staging equipment of the highest quality for many years and at MTX Electrical and Engineering we have a wide selection of Doughty items in our product range. 

Everything from lighting hoists to scenery fixings are supplied by Doughty, who are trusted throughout the industry. In order to design and manufacture the specialist products to be used in broadcasting and entertainment, Doughty Engineering has a fully equipped 35,000 sq foot facility in Ringwood, Hampshire. They are able to cater to customer requirements as and when needed and have a number of distributors throughout the UK. 

Doughty Engineering also supplies international customers with locations in Russia, Japan and the USA. They have been able to assist in hundreds of projects both in the UK and globally, incorporating bespoke parts designing and fabricating them for use in staging,
